Bath time for muddy dogs

 Bath time for muddy dogs

If a wipe-down and a brush isn’t enough, then it’s time for a bath!

Place your dog in a bath containing a couple of inches of lukewarm water and rinse their fur so that the water penetrates all the way through to the skin.

Choose a mild, dog-friendly shampoo specially formulated for the task, such as Groomers Performance Deep Clean Shampoo or Groomers Everyday Shampoo.

Work the shampoo into the coat from the neck to the tail paying attention to the extra dirty areas. Massaging the skin will create a relaxing experience for your dog whilst removing dirt and grime from the coat, helping to prevent skin irritations.

Once your dog is clean, rinse thoroughly with warm water to remove the shampoo and towel dry with a clean, super-absorbent towel, taking special care around the underbelly, bottom, ears and feet.

Finally, once your dog is dry, gently brush their coat to remove any tangles that may have formed.
