How to clean a dog after a muddy walk
Before cleaning your dog, reassure them that everything is going to be okay.
Start by wiping them down with a towel to remove excess water from the fur. Then, if possible, dry off excess mud with a dryer before you attempt to brush through their coat. Dry mud is much easier and less painful to remove from your dog’s coat, so giving it time to dry is essential.
Once the fur is dry, take a slicker brush and your Coat Management Spray and gently brush their coat to remove any loose dirt and debris and loosen off any tangles to prevent any mats from forming. Pay particular attention to really dirty areas and try to remove as much dirt as possible.
