Protect the car
Is there any better muddy winter adventure than one that starts in the car? Driving to and from a new walking destination with your dog is a really exciting way to walk them further afield and explore a new location. When the adventure ends and it’s time to drive home, you’ll want to ensure your car is fully protected so it doesn’t end up covered in mud. Lay down old towels to protect the seats, or, if you don’t want a large laundry load at the end of the trip, wipe them down and use seat covers to protect your car’s upholstery.
Another way to avoid a muddy car is to use a crate. The car will be protected, and your dog will be safe and secure on longer journeys.
